The History of Toto Toilets

Toto, stylized as TOTO, is a Japanese manufacturer of bathroom fixtures. Its name refers to the unique design of its Washlet toilet. The company was founded in 1917 and is based in Kitakyushu, Japan. It has manufacturing facilities in nine countries. As of 2016, the company has a sales force of around 31,000 employees worldwide. Read more about Toto and their products below. The name “Tro” is a mnemonic for a toilet made of bamboo. In Ghana, the word TRO translates to “three pence,” a reference to the old days when fares were inflated to multiples of the value of the trip. Moreover, the name “Toli” comes from the Ga language and means a bold-faced lie. The meaning of the term has evolved to mean a humorous version of a real event.

In July 2010, Toto announced its re-formation and embarked on a European tour in support of their former member, Mike Porcaro. The new tour benefited from the relapse of the musician, who has since been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Hence, he is no longer an active member of the band. Despite the fact that the company’s toilets are still in production, the newest generation is a much more advanced version of the same old.

In summer 2010, Toto reformed with a European tour. The tour was a benefit for Mike Porcaro, who was recovering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Although he is no longer a member of the band, he is still a significant member of the group. The re-formation has led to an exciting tour and a renewed interest in Toto, which focuses on personal hygiene.

Aside from their name, Toto has many other features that make them an excellent choice for bathrooms. Some of these include heated seats, remote controls for the bidet, automatic lids, and deodorizers. This makes them the ideal choice for a modern bathroom. Whether you’re looking for a luxury toilet or a high-end one, you’ll find a Toto toilet that meets your needs. But if you’re not a fan of the brand’s products, there are plenty of other options available.

In the ABC telefilm The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz, Toto was played by Pepe the King Prawn. In the 1996 animated series Oz Kids, Toto was replaced by Tutu, a female character. In the Sci-Fi Channel miniseries Tin Man, Toto was portrayed as a shape-shifting human. The band’s tour was dedicated to raising money for Mike Porcaro’s medical expenses.

Toto has become a household name due to their commercial success. In the late 1970s, the band’s eponymous debut album was a huge hit. A second album, Toto IV, was commercially and critically acclaimed. The band’s eponymous fourth album was released in 1980. The songs on Toto’s albums “Rosanna” and “Africa” became Top 5 hits. However, the group’s success was short-lived. In 2008, Toto announced that Steve Lukather would depart from the band. The remaining members of the band separated from it.
